This is a spacious, stylish, immaculately presented 1-bedroom apartment, on the second floor of a Victorian stucco building, located in the heart of the desirable West end of Folkestone in Bouverie Village.
On entering your flat in Manstone House you will find a hallway with doors off to a contemporary, sociable, open plan kitchen and lounge/diner. The kitchen has an integral dishwasher, fridge, microwave and built in cooker and hob. The lounge area has a statement, modern, chaise longue style sofa, dining table and chairs and a 42” wall mounted smart TV. The cool double bedroom has a king-size bed with luxury mattress, wardrobe, dressing table, and a second wall mounted 42” smart TV. The bathroom has a full-size bath with an overhead, wall mounted shower. The toilet and sink are set into hand built storage cupboards. A neat utility area in the hall houses a washing machine, iron and ironing board.
Folkestones' Bouverie village was historically a residential area during the Edwardian and Victorian era, but has evolved into a unique enclave of small businesses offering a micro pub, a wide range of eateries, hairdressers, an antique shop, and a Tesco metro. The apartment is minutes away from The Leas famous cliff top Promenade, with its stunning views across the Channel to France. It is a 5 minute stroll to The Lower Leas Coastal Park, the town centre, and the beach.

• No parties or events
• Quiet hours must be observed between 10pm - 7am
• Bathroom towels should NOT be removed from the apartment. (Beach towels can be supplied at an additional cost).
• Please use the designated make up pads/cloth and complementary Micellar water to remove make-up/fake tan. (Make-up stained white towels and bedding will be charged at £5 per item).
• Please DO NOT wash the towels provided. If you require a fresh set contact us to arrange.
• Please DO NOT feed the seagulls.
• Please DO NOT light candles in the building. There is a call-out fee of £60 to reset the smoke alarm system.
Access to the property is by key kept in a lockbox at the front door. Please note that there is no direct parking available near the property. Further down the road there is free on street parking available on a first come first served basis. The same is true in adjacent streets if you arrive at a busy time. Unless you intend to leave the town, you can walk to almost every part of Folkestone along the numerous scenic routes.
The team will be available during your stay for any queries or problems you may have.
Please note, this apartment is not suitable for children.
Please note, for our guests comfort, any stay longer than 7 days will be required to have a mid-stay apartment clean, change of bedding, towels & tea towels. There will be an additional charge of £45 for this service.

May 2024This is a great apartment in a pretty good location. It is spotlessly clean, modern, and just like the photos. The lounge is lovely and bright. Bedroom is a tad small but still lovely. There was parking nearby and it was easy to find. The little high street has a good selection of shops and restaurants and it was easy to walk into town and the harbour arm. The communal area of the flat has a bit of a drainage smell but this doesn’t affect the flat. Instructions were all very clear. We tried to use the out of hours contact and had no response but, when we did get a response it was very helpful and we were able to have a late checkout which was great. I’d definitely recommend this apartment.

November 2023Lovely apartment, perfect for a weekend away. Really spacious lounge/kitchen area, comfortable bed and well equipped. It's a couple of minutes walk to the sea front, around five minutes into (the main bit of) town, across the road from a Tesco express, and on the same road as many nice restaurants and pubs (though not noisy!). Recommended.

June 2023Place was clean and comfortable, with snacks/cereal/tea/milk provided. The location was very good for walking into Folkestone town or to the Leas/seafront. It was a bit noisy out front at night but out back (where the bedroom is) was quiet.

December 2022Our stay at Christine's accommodation was amazing. We had booked to stay for a weekend but, due to the train strikes, we had to extend our stay to the Thursday. They were really accomodating, and we were able to stay in the ground flat on the Thursday night and move to the first floor flat on the Friday. The flat itself is very well designed and a lovely place to stay. We had a great time in Folkestone. We did the park run by the coast (which is just three minutes from the flat), walked to Hythe and enjoyed food and drink in local cafes and restaurants.

The flat is very spacious, meticulously clean, and very well equipped. The Location is a short walk to the center of town as well as the beach. The check in process was smooth and easy, no issues at all. The host was very responsive and helpful throughout the entire process.

The apartment itself is lovely and morden, clean and with all the amenities you will need for your stay. The location is prefect, right on the Lees but yet close enough to walk into the town and harbour. Christine was a great host, her communications were very detailed and received ahead of our stay. Good location, selection of restaurants and bars within walking distance and off site parking within a 2 min walk. Great value for money, would definitely recommend!
